چکیده

This study encompasses to measure frequency of physiologically motivated emptying the udder by Holstein cows during lactation. With recording hours day, experiment shows that first-born emptied udder, on average, almost three times a having second lactation 2.5 and 3rd 4th lactations or more day. Analysis daily attending robotic milking machine showed visitation was relatively even, except for maximum peaks from 11.00 12.00 o’clock 21.00 23.00 o’clock. Similarly, among 2nd there were two – at night 22.00 1.00 o'clock in day 17.00 o'clock. For lactation, - one night, afternoon. Cows under had high maxima: first 4.00 10.00 afternoon, third 18.00 night. concludes milk productivity needs (milking) least Since occurs time it is necessary provide animals with adequate water feed table.

Productive Longevity in Beef Cows

Introduction. Cow longevity is one of the most economically important traits in the beef cow. Longevity is inter-related to other important traits, and, therefore, it is difficult to separate the importance of longevity, itself, from the importance of traits that are related to longevity. For example, reproductive performance is usually part of the culling criteria. It is often stated that repr...

Epidemiological Study of Udder and Teat Diseases in Dairy Cows

An epidemiologic study was conducted on 581 dairy cows (indigenous and its crosses 371, exotic crosses 210) of 4 government establishments to find prevalence of udder and teat diseases and their association with udder and teat characteristic, milk yield and milk flow rate in dairy cows. Mastitis (25.5%) was most common disease followed by udder skin diseases (15.0%) and teat diseases (12.6%). P...

Role of neutrophils in protection of udder from infection in high yielding dairy cows

Protection of the mammary gland against mastitis-causing pathogens is mediated by many factors in thegland and blood circulation. The professional phagocytic cells of bovine udder, polymorphonuclearneutrophils (PMN) and macrophages, comprise the first line of defense against invading mastitis pathogens. Most researchers now accept that the PMN is a key factor in the cows’ defense against intrama...

Nutrition and udder health in dairy cows: a review

Mastitis is still one of the three main diseases that affects the profitability of dairy farmers. Despite the implementation of the five-point mastitis control programme in the early 1970 s, the incidence in the UK has not reduced dramatically over the past 10 years. A review of the scientific literature indicates that there is a link between nutrition and mastitis in the dairy cow. The major i...

The effect of stress on udder health of dairy cows.

The appropriate literature has been reviewed for the purpose of defining the phenomenon of stress in lactating dairy cattle, establishing a baseline concept of lactation stress and emphasizing the most significant aspects of the natural mammary defence mechanisms. Data on the general adaptation syndrome (GAS) make it clear that stress is essentially the rate of wear and tear of the biological s...
